Venue: De Lindenhof, Zocherweg 9, Delft
De Lindenhof will be the venue for the 2012 conference. It lies in the middle of Delft’s rural quarter, built c1880 for staff of the nearby ‘Gist- en Spiritusfabrieken’ – a baker’s yeast factory. The monumental building, which served as the cultural centre, lies in the Agneta park, designed by the famous architect Zocher, who is also known for the Vondelpark in Amsterdam.
De Lindenhof features on the list of national monuments due to its interior, with its authentic ‘Toneelzaal’ (theatre) and its beautiful wall paintings.
Delegates can enjoy sitting outside on one of the patios, taking an inspirational walk through the Agneta park or visiting the historic centre of Delft, which is a stone’s throw distance away.
There is limited parking outside the building itself, but plenty of free parking in and around the park.
